At the Convocation of Scholars 2008 Honors Luncheon of the College of Sciences and Mathematics, Dr. Argelia Lorence received the Dean’s Horizon Award. Dr. Gregory Phillips presented this award in recognition of a joint-appointee who is successfully fulfilling both the commitment to her Academic Department and the research agenda of the Arkansas Biosciences Institute and who has provided excellent service to the Molecular Biosciences Program, the Arkansas Biosciences Institute, the Department of Chemistry and Physics, and the University overall.
